DIALOGUE AMONG CIVILIZATIONS THROUGH POETRY

We Bring Peace Together

And I start this peace inside myself, accepting all the parts of me,
that I've hidden, way back on a shelf. I'm learning to love all of me.
To think again, anew
And sometimes I learn to love me,
I mean, often I see that I stay free
When I let myself love you.

It takes all of me to know you, I'm learning who you really are,
delighting that you walk your talk. You're rising high to catch your star.
And you think again, anew;
for sometimes you come from afar,
I mean that you can just be who you really are,
Cause you let yourself love you.

For we bring peace together when we're strong and kind.
We let live forever, when we come from our hearts and minds.

And I'm here with you, meeting you face to face. This is where we find our glory.
Eye-to-eye is an awesome place; our lives are now our favorite story:
How we think again, anew.
Together is a great place to be;
I mean, when you're all You and I'm all Me.
'Cause we let ourselves love true.

For we bring peace together when we're strong and kind.
We let live forever, when we weave with our hearts and minds.

And I'm here with you, meeting you face to face. This is where we find our glory.
For eye-to-eye is amazing grace; our lives are now our favorite story:
How we think again, anew.
Together is a great place to be;
I mean, when you're all You and I'm all Me.
'Cause we let ourselves love true.

For we bring peace together when we're strong and kind.
We let live forever, when we use both our hearts and minds.
